I am married to a wonderful man named Shaun, who is also a 6^th grade teacher.  We have two amazingly ornery and fantastic boys.  Gideon is our oldest and at time craziest son.  He is 8 and is in 3^rd grade.  Gavin is the littlest and sometimes craziest son.  He is 6 and in 1^st grade. 

This will be my thirteenth year of teaching.  I have taught 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th grades.  My favorite, and most challenging, grade to teach is 6^th. Hopefully the number 13 brings us good luck this year. J
