Tick clothing

On the mountain hike, hikers have been asked to tuck their pants into their socks, so that if a tick should get on their shoes it would stay on the outside of the clothing where it could be seen.  Wearing long socks on the hike allows the pants to be tucked.  Wearing lighter colored pants also makes it easier to see the ticks.
