Library/Reader portion will be in the Eissler Cafeteria until the Northeast Library is rehabilitated from the vandalism.


Donations are being collected to help support the rehabilitation.

At the Northeast Library:
                         Sign up for a Library Card.  (see below)
   6:00 - 7:00 pm         Listen to the guest reader.
                                 Have refreshments.
                                 Check out books.

  7:00 - 9:00 p.m.        15 % of pizza sales donated to Eissler Booster Club

To apply for a library card, your parents/guardian must be present.
You may print off a library card application at www.kerncountylibrary.org
by clicking on Using the Library link.  Once you have the form, click print.  Click on the following for English or Espanol.  You will also need to bring one item
from  Section  #1  and Section #2:

     1.  A current, unexpired:

  • California Driver's License

  • California ID card
  • Passport
  • Resident Alein
  • Military ID
    2.  A recent:
  • Car regestration
  • Utility bill
  • Checkbook, with preprinted address
  • Current rental/lease agreementAny piece of recently postmarked mail
