Egg Drop Contest 

 

Terms of contest

 

     1.  Egg in container to be dropped/tossed from roof of school.

     2.  Egg must be visible, or container opened afterwards

          to show egg.

     3.  Contraption should be easy enough to move to roof.

     4.  Egg may not be cooked, drained, stuffed, or otherwise

          altered. (Only the typical store bought chicken egg

          may be used - no goose eggs, ostrich eggs, salmon

          eggs, etc 

     5.  Name identification should be on contraption 

     6.  Do not cause teacher to have egg on face.

 

Success & Awards 

 

     1.  Egg drops will be determined successful if the egg

         does not break after being dropped.      

     2.  Special recognition may be given to entries in the

          following categories (Egg must land safely

 

               a.  Most unique suspension

               b.  Best parachute landing

               c.  Most unique construction

               d.  Best bouncing landing

               e.  Best balloon landing

                f.  Best glide, float, or winged landing

               g.  Smallest container

  

     3.  Special recognition may be given to the Best Splat

          (Just dropping an egg in a sack, etc. doesn't get it.

          The splat should be unintended, or special

          construction should be unique.

     4.  Egg Drop Log must accompany entry.
