Spenserian Stanza
This is an 9 line poem with a rhyme scheme: a,b,a,b,b,c,b,c5,c6. The last two lines have 5 and 6 poetic feet, loosely translated as 10 and 12 syllables.
It's my turn now
to put a seven down
While we play the game of mow
Just to make Emily frown
place on a pile a crown
Emily is now mad and is going to get me back
We change the suits around
Emily now wants to give me a good wack
but I know she would not do that so there she sat

Candy could be sweet or it can be sour
My favorite candy is sour skittles
Chocolate can be eaten by the hour
On candy boxes there should be riddles
And some of those candies are very brittle
One of my favorite mint are candy-canes
Some tasty candy can be very little
Sometimes you may think candy is raining
Sometimes people think they're right on candy lane

A very colorful day with purple, pink and red is Valentines
It is a heartfelt and you possibly can't forget mushy
I can't possibly think why some people want it to be all the time
the gross thing about it is the candy can be smushy
as long as when you open a card it doesn't say be mine
I wouldn't dare to pay a dime to hear will you be mine one more time
It is a very hard and difficult to try and rhyme
Valentines day can be very good and sweet
It can be good with the cards and very sweet
